Leaves

 Using the leaves template included in this


document, cut out two fabric leaves of each style.

 With right sides together, sew around the edges of


the leaf at ¼ inch each, leaving a 2 inch opening at the
bottom.
 No need to be exact. We want every leaf to be
somewhat different.

 Trim the corners

 Clip around the


curves.

 Turn the leaf.
 Fold in the opening. Press.

 Baste opening closed.


 Pin leaf to fabric in
desired position.

 Stitch through the middle (the seam will look like a


vein.)

 Fold part of the leaf


over at the bottom to give
the leaf some shape.
 Stitch over previous
basting to keep it in place.

 Repeat with other leaves.


 It does not need to look beautiful at the bottom as
that will be covered up by the flower.
 Hand-stitch the flowers over top.
