CREATING VIDEO FOLDERS

Open the drive whereas to store

the video files.
Create a folder named Video by
right-clicking anywhere within

the opening drive window and
selecting Folder. Right-click on
the new folder, and rename the
folder “Video”.
Under the “Video” folder, you

can now add sub folders such
as your schedule or possible
trade videos.

DO NOT store video on your Desktop of

My Documents Folder.

ITEMS NEEDED
• Digital Cameras with DV or Fire

• Computers with Fire wire Input

• 4 to 4 pin or 6 to 4 pin Fire wire

1 Connect the digital camera to the computer with the fire wire cable.
2 Close the auto play window when it appears.
Open the capture program from the Flash Page. Select the correct capture setting
3 when the choices appear.
Choose the correct video folder for capture by clicking on the address button near

the top of the screen.
Browse to the correct video folder in which to capture the video. The path
5 labeled under "Hard Disk Folder" should represent the location of where you will
be capturing.
6 Once the Record button is clicked on the camera it will control the capture
software.
7 Once the game is over, close the software and the video is not captured.

Start by selecting the Markup icon from the task VIDEO FOLDER BUTTONS

and choose the video file to mark or trim into

1 At the top of the list you should only have once file sitting in the folder that will
need to be spliced into multiple files.
Starting from the Left Side of the Video clip, use the mouse to click on the point
to splice watching the video window in the top left hand corner. Click on the “S”

button the keyboard to Split. The remaining part of the file to keep splitting will
drop down. Continue splitting until the entire game is complete.

3 Click the OK button at the bottom of the screen to Commit Changes and allow
the clips to render to individual files.

AUTOMATCH STEPS
CAPTURE ALL VIDEO ANGLES IN SEPARATE FOLDERS

Open the capture software and load the video to the preset folders. When the files
are captures they should read with DSV on the front of the filename, followed with the
year, date and time. Example: DSV20090303 20.34.56.avi

OPEN THE AUTOMATCH SCREEN FROM THE FLASH PAGE

Go through the Automatch procedures on the following pages to generate and


automatch file

ADD THE GAME

When adding the game, make sure and select Get Video Folders From
Automatch File to fill in the video angles. Click add game and select ODK to tag
Offense, Defense, Kicking Game.

ODK

Once entering the ODK screen a pop will prompt to select an automatch file.
Select the file again and proceed. Since the video is already matched you only
need to ODK the game using one angle view. Once the game has been ODK’ed
you can proceed as normally on the Breakdown screen.

AUTOMATCH CORRECTIONS
To move clips to the

correct row, click on
the row and choose
up or down.
