As winter makes way for spring I findmyself clearingthe closets and clutter of my old life, pr eparing theground for new growth. As I clear away what nolonger serves I recall a message from a friend“Spend none of your precious life energy on trying torevive that which is already dead”. I am grateful for the teaching and the reminder that life is notpermanent. One of the reasons I like to fill my house with freshflowers each week is to be reminded of my ownimpermanence. The beauty and fragrance of theflower is fleeting and only lasts for a short while, asdo our lives. (continued on page 2)
