In
the last year we’ve undergone some changes at Chicago Scholars—we have a newname and a new look—but what has never changed is our dedication to helpingChicago’s rst generation, underserved and low-income students achieve their dream o obtaining a college degree and succeeding in their careers and lives. It is only through the collective eorts o many that we can sustain this commitment. Theollowing pages contain hundreds o names—o donors, oundations, corporate partners andvolunteers—all o whom have made a contribution o their energy, time, intellect and nancial support to help ourScholars. You have a direct and positive impact on the lives o Chicago’s most deserving, academically motivatedstudents, and on behal o Chicago Scholars I thank you or your support. With gratitude and best wishes,Karen G. Foley,
President
At
one time in our Scholars’ lives, applying and enrolling into college, let alonegraduating, may have been a seemingly impossible goal. Through Chicago Scholars’unique programmatic and mentoring support, students are achieving 95% graduation ratesrom our-year colleges o their choice. This impressive percentage is truly inspiring, but alsoserves as a reminder o how sound your investment is in whatever way you support ChicagoScholars. This program works, produces results and I am proud to play a leadership role as we prepare our scholars orsuccess in college and beyond. On behal o the Board o Directors, I thank you or your ongoing commitment and or the dierence you make in thelives o our Scholars.Sincerely,Cary J. Stier,
Chair, Board of Directors
