The Chicago Scholars Onsite Forum is part of a comprehensive
ve-year mentoringand support program aimed at bringing post secondary educational opportunities totalented,
rst generation, low-income and under-resourced scholars from every public,private and parochial high school in Chicago.Unlike traditional college fairs, Chicago Scholars works with high school counselors,students and community partners in advance of the event to provide individualizedcollege counseling that addresses:

Financial aid strategies and access to scholarships
Mentoring support to scholars
and
their familiesPrior to attending the event, college admissions o
cers review applications fromeach of the scholars they will meet that day. Applications are screened for qualityand completeness by Chicago Scholars to help match talented candidates with“good-
t” colleges.
