Tegra:= is a system-on-a-chip with an ARM
processor developed by NVIDIA for mobile devices
such as smartphones, PDAs and MIDs.

MID := Mobile Internet Devices

NVIDIA:= American MNC which specializes in the
development of chipsets & GPUs for PCs and MIDs.
 Tegra contains
• an ARM11 as CPU,
• a GeForce as GPU,
• an Image processor,
• an HD Video Processor,
• A Northbridge and a Southbridge for
controlling other components & memory.
 32-bit Dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore
processor, up to 1.0 GHz
 2x 3D graphics performance of previous
generation Tegra
 Full High Definition Multimedia
 Supports multi-standard audio formats
 True dual-display support for HDMI, WSXGA,

• However it is not compatible with X86
neither it supports android.
