 Press is the mediator between public and government, and it also works as a controlling
tools for each of their activities, beside that, it is also an effective tools to create public opinion
through the news that they publish. Freedom of press giving them more space to create better
news, because it is also meant that they can write their opinion without any doubt.

Freedom of press should be kept and the freedom itself will not threaten the stability of
society. Because the press themselves have their own responsibility at writing the news. They
are also controlled by press organization to keep them on track. As a controlling tool, press
should be independent and works freely.

Though press has their freedom, they also have their responsibility. Besides, there are
independent organizations that are controlling the press in order to keep them on track. So
freedom of press does not mean that they could write everything that they want to do without
being responsible for what they have written, but it is about having their freedom responsibly.

Press should work independently, since they are the tools of control. For some certain
cases such as accident and other incident, press help to build public opinion and they can also
make the organization to be a better organization in the future. If they are being controlled by
other organization, they become unable to create the news that are objective and true.

So, the freedom of press should be kept, because it is one of the ways to create true
democracy. But the freedom itself should be used responsibly, to make sure that the news that
they create is true and objective.
