How to Vote in an Automated ElectionBy: Cyrill TanSo, youre a first time voter. You wake up on May 10 finding that the fate of your country lies inyour very hand. You can only cast one vote but this one vote could make a total difference. Now, youreequipped with the knowledge of who to vote for, but how would you vote for them during the electionmay come as a trouble, especially now that they have everything automated.Well, worry no more, here are the steps into voting your way in an automated election.Step 1: wake up early and go to your designated precincts and check for your name. You canonly vote in one precinct as the number of ballots is exact. Bring your voters ID or any valid ID with yourregistration stub. Unlike at school where you can sneak your way in the building even without any IDspresented, the voting precincts would not let you touch the ballots without it.Step 2: now, you can go to the Board of Election Inspectors to get a ballot for yourself. Makesure you have the ID that the inspectors need and make sure as well that it is really your precinct.Step 3: we know that the reason you are going out to vote is for your voice to be heard, butbefore that listen first to the Board of Election Inspectors as they give you instructions on filling up theballot.Step 4: you can now receive the ballot from the Board of Election Inspectors. Just like what wehave already mentioned a while ago, the number of ballots is exact so dont play with it. Treat it withgreat care as though it is a precious gem that needs utmost care.
