their condition, circumstance, or
religious beliefhas the dignity of
being Gods image bearer, and
deservesand should be granted
equal honor and respect by all other
human beings.

Todos los seres humanos, cualquiera

Seeing others as Gods

image bearers should
should cause us, as
individuals, to view and
treat others with respect,
regardless of our
differences. It should also
cause us to look
at ourselves with respect
and dignity.

Ver a los dems como

portadores de la imagen
divina debe motivarnos
como individuos a ver y
tratar a los dems con
respeto, cualesquiera que

To realize that God loves and

values us should help us to value
ourselves mentally, physically,
and spiritually. It should cause us
to view ourselves positively, to
take care of ourselves physically,
to nurture our spirits with positive
and godly input. It should remind
us of the sanctity of our own
lives, thus keeping us from
harming ourselves in any way.

Tener presente que Dios nos ama

y nos valora nos debiera ayudar a
valorarnos mental, fsica y
espiritualmente. Debe motivarnos
a tener una mirada positiva de
nosotros mismos, a cuidarnos
fsicamente y a nutrir nuestro
espritu con cosas sanas y
edificantes. Debe recordarnos la
santidad de nuestra propia vida y
por ende impedir que nos
hagamos dao en modo alguno.

We should recognize that

despite any personal
weaknesses or failures, how
we may perceive our own
worth, how we view our
physical appearance or our
education or mental abilities,
we are valued by God and thus
should value ourselves.

Es preciso que reconozcamos

que a pesar de nuestras
debilidades o fracasos
personales, de cmo
percibamos nuestra vala o
nuestro aspecto fsico,
educacin o capacidad
intelectual, Dios nos valora y
por tanto debemos valorarnos
a nosotros mismos.

Realizing that God values

human beings, that He loves
and cares for us, should
cause us to value humanity,
to recognize the worth of
every person, ourselves
included, and to do what we
can to live in harmony and
peace with others.

Tener conciencia de que Dios

valora a los seres humanos,
que nos ama y vela por
nosotros, debe impulsarnos
a valorar a la humanidad, a
reconocer la vala de cada
persona, incluida la nuestra,
y a hacer lo que podamos
por vivir en armona y paz
con los dems.
