But Mythology is not that, but the ancient History of Mankind ,sometimes distorted by the passing of time and sometimes also by political interests- so it's not science fiction. Then, he has the History upside down, as he place the Egytian, Mayan and Aztec, Greek and Romans BEFORE the Mesopotamian, who were the first for more than 2.000 years ! Also, he simplifies too much and ends by devising a book full of inexactitudes and errors, but that serves to brainwash minds.
