The scoring system is designed to achieve the best possible outcome against the Habitat Action Plan requirements. This side of the table is for information only * indicates likely relevant biodiversity for each of the green roof elements.Complete the table to establish the biodiversity score for your planned roof and use as a tool to increase its value through design.A roof can be designed to benefit more than one habitat or group of species, The benchmark of 80mm of substrate, with a Score of 1 is the starting point.however, the benefit will be reduced if many habitats are attempted on one roof.Scores over 20 are rated Excellent for biodiversity, Scores over 15 are rated Good for biodiversity.See the Habitat Action Plan for more information on the habitats and species.
