Timeline and Current Progress

• Conceptual Design and Feasibility Complete (East Foss Transportation


Study).
• Project adopted in City of Tacoma Six-Year Transportation Program.
• Project shortlisted for $6M FMSIB grant (pending outcome of IJR).
• Congressman Smith has requested $8M in Transportation Reauthorization
Bill.
• SSA Marine and City of Tacoma have allocated 70% of the funding for the IJR
study, remaining funds pending via Puyallup Tribe grant request.
• With funding the IJR process could start in late 2010.
