Luke has come to Eco Plaza! To those of you who are avid Star Wars fans, unfortunately he
s not the Luke that you are ex-pecting. His name is Mr. Luke Poliszcuk, an experienced English teacher for Japanese and also, manages a company special-ized in sustainable communication. On April 6, Mr. Poliszcuk has made an appearance to Eco Plaza as a lecturer for GreenLife Style English Class, taking 8 students to the world of environmental English. This session is recognized as a
pre-session
, meaning the official course is set to begin from June. But the students were eagerenough to introduce themselves and question each other in English
Eco Plaza was transformed itself to a foreign environ-ment. After a rather extensive introduction, a radio broadcast article from
Voice of America
was played as a study material. They
ve learnt that in English, a term, Climate Change is more preferably used than Global Warming, because a word,
 Warm-ing
sometimes interpreted for good in some situations. A material like this is something that people can
t learn at a con- ventional English conversation school, and all the students couldn
t stop moving their pens to note the new findings.A pre-session of Green Lifestyle English will also be held in May.
