Musharraf Covers Tracks:Burns Record of Referendum

ISLAMABAD: Hard evidence is now available to show that the Pakistan ElectionCommission has burnt all the relevant record of the highly disputed AprilReferendum which General Musharraf claims elected him as President of Pakistanfor five years.
The exercise was carried out in the four provincial headquarters of the Election Commissionand all the Embassies abroad where overseas Pakistanis had cast their votes in a greathaste, despite the fact that a case had been filed in the Supreme Court seeking an urgentinjunction to stop the destruction of the vital record which could prove that President
Musharraf’s so called election was a total fraud.
