Internationally-known orthopedic surgeon Frank Noyes MD, head of Deaconess Hospital's Cincinnati Sportsmedicine clinic, was awarded the Heimlich Institute's "Save a Life Award" for allegedly saving the lives of two drowning victims and one choking victim using the Heimlich maneuver.

Coincidentally, the Heimlich Institute is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deaconess Associations.
