Southem Forestry Country Reports are the essential reference for those with an interest in what we like to describe as “the world’s most dynamic forestry countries”.
The countries and their forest industries have had to face up to the twin challenges of the disastrous worldwide economic recession and pressures and opportunities resulting from climate change. Forest industry exports provide on average US$30 billion worth of revenue for the countries of the South, and the importance of these industries to the economies is reflected in our country reviews.
Each country review provides layers of background necessary to build a picture of the countries’ geography, politics and economics, referencing forestry, wood flows and forest industry developments and the trade in forest products.
The Southem Country Reports includes informative maps and full tables of figures in addition to instructive graphs. Our country reports have proven to be attractive to a wide range of users, including libraries, researchers, analysts, company executives, forest managers, operations executives, those involved or interested in importing southern hemisphere products, and exporters reviewing competitive markets.
