When my university department established a continuing
educational degree program in 2001, I worked during the
daytime and went to class during the evenings. Despite
the difficulty of holding down a job and pursuing a
bachelors degree simultaneously, I acquired much
professional knowledge in civil engineering.

My work as an administrative assistant in a construction
company in Puli of central Taiwan, following my
graduation from business vocational school, allowed me
to apply theories taught in the classroom to actual
working situations.
After completing our countrys compulsory military
service of nearly two years, I began my career working in
an information integration company, where I first learned
how to maintain hardware systems and construct a
network, followed by orientation with the different
functions of manufacturing-oriented information systems.

While diligently striving to familiarize myself with state-of-
the-art information technologies, I was eventually
promoted to section manager in 1999, a role in which I
became adept in accumulating information, evaluating
data, negotiating prices and reviewing budgets.
