The Introductory Rite

The Greeting
One of the following formulas is used: 1.C.The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with youall.
P.And also with you.
 2.C.The grace and peace of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
P.Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 
Or:
 
And also with you.
 3.C.The Lord be with you.
P.And also with you.
 
The Act of Penance
One of the following formulas is used: 1.C.My brothers or sisters
(or similar wording)
, to prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries, let uscall to mind our sins.(Pause.) 
P.I confess to almighty God,and to you, my brothers and sisters,that I have sinned through my own fault
(all strike their breast)
 in my thoughts and in my words,in what I have done,and in what I have failed to do;and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin,all the angels and saints,and you, my brothers and sisters,to pray for me to the Lord our God.
 2.C.My brothers or sisters
(or similar wording)
, to prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries, let uscall to mind our sins.After a pause the Celebrant continues: Lord, we have sinned against you:Lord, have mercy.
 
P.Lord, have mercy.
 C.Lord, show us your mercy and love.

The Liturgy of the Word
At the conclusion of the
