Reports to: Director

Office Management
• In cooperation with Fairness Campaign’s leadership and director, facilitate organizational systems and
volunteers in a manner that furthers the Fairness Campaign’s strategic plans
• Accurately and timely manage Campaign’s databases
• Engage, support and train volunteers to assist with maintaining databases
• Manage records and files, with volunteer assistance, to be accessible and usable
• Manage office, building and grounds, with volunteer assistance, to be clean and welcoming
• Ensure office is equipped with necessary supplies
• Supervise maintenance of office equipment (i.e. phones, computers, copier, fax, etc.)
Bookkeeping
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process bi-monthly payroll and associated tax deposits and report filings
• Process contributions and bank deposits
• Process credit card pledges
• Reconcile bank statements
• Manage general ledger and process monthly journal entries
• Prepare and file annual tax returns
• Provide monthly financial statements to the Fairness Campaign’s Coordinating Committee
• Assist investments management committee

Communications
• Assist in creating a positive impression and a welcoming environment for Fairness through friendly,
effective communication with contacts in person, via phone, email and website
• Answer and direct telephone calls, record and distribute messages
• Respond in timely manner to constituent and ally communications (phone and email); direct to leadership
and director as appropriate
• Facilitate communication with Fairness Campaign’s leadership via email, phone and mail
• Facilitate regular communication with committees
• Foster volunteer recruitment by sharing information about opportunities
• Coordinate and assist in executing action alerts (phone and email)
• Support the maintenance of an active, accurate calendar of Campaign’s community activities and
committee meetings
• Maintain open line of communication with ally groups, facilitate strong relationships
Fundraising and Financial Development
• Accurately maintain all member, donor and volunteer database records
• Support membership recruitment and renewal efforts at community-based events
