Blitz – that was the key word for this year's Spring Rush. The Communication team pulled out
all the stops for a new marketing campaign that got the whole school asking who we are. Delta Omega Zeta
saw an unprecedented amount of interest: Over 200 students registered for Spring Rush!
Actives and potential members mingled at fun events spanning the two weeks of Rush: A formal
info meeting, a Meet the Actives game night, a Flag Football BBQ, a speaker event with the CEO of
MySpace, and tons of bonding in between. We also began a new tradition: a formal Prospective Member
Sunday Brunch at the Radisson Hotel, with a more intimate crowd of actives and students.
After three days of interviews, reading through a new chapter record of 70 applications and a
treacherous decision night, we offered bids to 22 dynamic and passionate applicants. This new class has
made DOZ history with their spirit and incredibly close bond.
