Workshop Nº2 “Errors in schools”

Gather on groups and comment on the following statements and questions.

1.- Comment on the way errors made by students are treated in your schools.

2.- Comment a situation which you think errors could have been corrected
using another method.

3.- Explain the impact that an improper treatment of student’s errors may have
on them when learning ESL.

4.- Comment the most common errors students make when learning ESL.

5.- How would you correct those errors? Do you have a theory or
methodology for correcting errors?

Pick one of the questions and statements and narrate what actually happened
at that time and describe that particular event. Refer to people, place, and
background. Avoid interpretations, suppositions, presumptions or
assumptions. Explain briefly why that particular event called your attention.
You have one full page (letter format) for narration. Be as clear, brief and
precise as you can.

Assignment format: Times New Roman, font- size 12, this artifact should be
posted on the blog. No printed works will be accepted

Deadline: Until April 27th (midnight).
