won't believe what human race has been able to do with the rights to freedom of others...
I cry a river each time I remember what life is and of course it is only about freedom, nothing else. Without freedom, in any respect, there is absolutely no life which is possible, of course controlled freedom via democratically established laws, however.
won't believe that human race had the courage of designing, assembling, and installing machines inside of human heads, without victim knowing, against their will, biotechnology, to induce them to suicide via infinite aggression and violence imposed straight on the most vital and priceless human organ, as well as delicate, own brains...won't believe they had the courage of decapitating (in a practical sense), mutilating, pieces of body and life of researchers, and others, to live at their slaved expense...people who were unable to accept God's choices for them, got to slave others to repeat their thoughts, their ideas, to pretend to be themselves, 24 hours a day, occupying even their own bodies, kept in full hostage, and arrest, of infinitely criminal and illegal nature. Biotech yet not revealed to World, several dying, being controlled, losing their entire priceless organisms without even ever using them in full to their own pleasure and entertainment, as well as achievement...learn their names, learn about device, spread to largest number of people as possible. High chance it all remains hidden from everyone else.

Thanks 4 interesting stream of consciousness. Which (unintentionally) is a very appropriate term to introduce, because it's worth making explicit the priviso/condition to this truth: "freedom is living (when you do so) _consciously_". Even that needs additional description, because I'm doubtless not the only one who's assumed that "I think, therefore I'm conscious". As I've learned the hard way, it's much more about reflective thinking.
Literally, consciousness = awareness - awareness that there's much more to us than just those thoughts. Tolle puts it well:
"The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not .. the thinker. ... The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated.
You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind."
This non-judgmental reflecting/observing of your emotions and thoughts enables one to stop automatically reacting according to thoughts (which can often come from mis-learnings, and/or the illusion we are our egoic mind, as chaos_theory explained). Instead, as Frankl (& others, and so Covey) came to realize, even amidst the loss of liberty within concentration camps: "Between stimulus and response is our greatest power – the freedom to choose."
Meditation indeed helps with this (and so other) important mental habit(s). It also creates calm so non/"sub"-conscious values, beliefs, desires etc & the voice of intuition/"our higher self"/conscience can be realized as thoughts. Hence it facilitates integrity through alignment of the non- & conscious 'minds' (esp. with development of a strong loving, principled "center" away from the habits of fear & desire often acquired during childhood). Those principles include balance for your self and others. This also means compassionately loving yourself, and taking response-ability for giving love to yourself, instead of expecting others to read our minds and fulfill us.
Also, as Peck & McWilliams have explained, note that "(romantic) love" that makes us (/our hormones) fly is primarily to do with Dawkin's "selfish genes", then secondarily with the dissolution of ego boundaries.
I'm regretting my rave here, but these things shouldn't be a mystery. We should be taught this knowledge and related techniques & be reminded of them from childhood. (Actually life does do half of that, but it can be hard to recognize the feedback as lessons, or what to do differently, esp when we're small and learning.)
One can start simply from Dr. Spencer Johnson's "One Minute for Yourself".
Teach too, esp implicitly by example. Love!

I agree with you in the message that "the natural state of the being is freedom" and i woulkd like to add some thoughts about it...

It seems that for centuries the human culture have built mental structures to limit and even abolish freedom (evolutionary mistakes?).

We are prisoners only of mental processes, created with external ideas... we need to undo our artificial selves, our view of reality, our fake needs and we will discover the freedom inside, no mather the environment.

That seems to be the reasons why so many wisdom people through history have recommended meditation.
