cherished opportunities to interact with their favorite Disney
characters and make their dreams come true.
Walt Disney Studios Park offers an interactive, behind-the-
scenes discovery of the very best in cinema, animation and
television. In 2007, two new attractions opened at Toon
Studio, a new toon-themed area. Crush\u2019s Coaster, a
topsy-turvy roller coaster ride, is based on the hit
Disney\u2022Pixar film \u201cFinding Nemo,\u201d and Cars Race Rally, a
desert-racing adventure, is inspired by the Disney\u2022Pixar hit \u201cCars.\u201d
seekers. Set in a mysterious Hollywood hotel, the adventure begins when Guests enter the haunted hotel's abandoned 1930s lobby. They board one of the hotel's elevators where they find themselves on a terrifying journey as the elevator rises to the 13thfloor and then strange events begin to transpire.
Also debuting at the Walt Disney Studios Park is Stitch Live, starring the mischievous,
animated character Stitch, matching wits with the audience in a live, interactive experience.
The attraction uses new technology that allows Guests to interact in real-time with the cuddly-
but-destructive alien prone to hilarious fits of havoc in Walt Disney Pictures hit animated film
\u201cLilo & Stitch.\u201d
Giving Guests greater choices is a priority at the seven Disney Hotels, where Guests
can live the magic around the clock. The Tailor Made Dreams initiative gives Guests the
ability to customize their experience at Disney Hotels. The innovative planning system
allows Guests to pick and choose items that enhance their overall visit, such as extra
hotel nights, transportation options, or an excursion to Paris. The Extra Magic Hours
initiative gives Disney Hotels Guests extra time in the morning to enjoy the Disneyland
Park hours before normal opening.
By providing additional accommodation choices to overnight Guests, Selected and
Associated hotels boost the Resort capacity from 5,800 to about 8,000 rooms, while
providing Guests with a high-quality accommodation alternative.
Selected hotels include the Holiday Inn, Vienna International Dream Castle Hotel,
MyTravel Explorers Hotel, and Kyriad Hotel, which are all located within walking
distance of the theme parks. Associated hotels include the Hotel L'Elysee Val d'Europe
and Pierre & Vacances Residence, which are both in nearby Val d'Europe's town
center, as well as a Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France and the Radisson Hotel, which
are adjacent to Golf Disneyland.
Disneyland Resort Paris strives to exert a positive economic and social impact on the
Paris region to which it belongs. A 2006 Social and Economic Impact Study
conducted by the French State tells a story of development, employment and
economic success. The Resort is well integrated in the region\u2019s tourism landscape,
with one-third of Disneyland Resort Paris\u2019 foreign visitors visiting both the Resort and

The resort's activity generates more than 49,000 direct and indirect jobs. The significant taxes generated by Disneyland Resort Paris allow local communities to enhance infrastructure, improve services, and maintain the area's high quality of life.
Through 15 years of partnering with European community wish-granting charities,
Disneyland Resort Paris has made more than 7,000 dreams come true for children
with life-threatening illnesses. These children and their families are given an
opportunity to stay at a Disney-themed hotel, to meet favorite Disney characters and to
visit the parks as VIPs.
This year, Disneyland Resort Paris opened a \u201cDisney Wish Lounge\u201d located at the heart
of Disneyland Park. The Lounge is open to children participating in the \u201cDisney Wish
Program\u201d and their families, so that they can rest and relax without returning to their
Disneyland Resort Paris organizes special charity events that raise awareness and funds for children's causes. For the Designer Princesses event, 25 top European designers created high fashion dresses and accessories inspired by the Disney princesses, which were auctioned off at Christie's in Paris to benefit UNICEF.
