ALMA JONESIMPACTING UGANDA
God uses youth and seniors to impactthe world with the message of theGospel. This great-grandmother is trav-eling all over Uganda into small villagesconducting classes on how to read andrightly divide the Word of truth. For House of Friends, Alma is our eyes, ears, and hands watching over Abba House in Entebbe, Uganda, seeingthey receive the funds we send andchecking on them from time to time. The rest of her time is spent in themaking of disciples under her ownministry called Citadel. Alma shares,
“Since 2006, when I started, we have
taught 620 students in 39 classes held in21 locations (mostly villages up coun-
try).” Alma used 8 different instructors,
who also received training from her, inhelping teach the classes. She also has preached in churches and taught in theLugonjo Fellowship every Thursdaynight for the last two to three years.
Alma said, “I really believe thisactivity is what is keeping me „young.‟My mother complained that she didn‟t
feel needed and that is when she started
getting old.”
This month Alma is headed for Bubulo where she and another instructor will be training believers to teach thecourse in home Bible studies. This is anew endeavor that will enable manymore converts to understand how tostudy and understand the Word of God.
