for this one-of-a-kind competition. In
its first year, “Young Classical Music
Idol” has reached young musicians not
only in the Philadelphia area, but in

Lee Plamondon Volunteer Award to Sarita Jordan. Sarita’s giv-

She always finds time to call a woman in need. She provides
a listening ear, hope, educational assistance, and inspiration.
The Lee Plamondon Volunteer Award is named in memory of
Lee Plamondon, one of the first LBBC volunteers trained to
answer calls on the LBBC’s Survivors’ Helpline. Lee played a
vital role in educating the public and other LBBC volunteers
about this service, which she believed could make a significant
difference in the lives of breast cancer survivors. Attending the
