INTRO
Based on what the writer has written, do you believe that an audience of social scientists
would know exactly what the writer is hypothesizing and how s/he understand the concepts
(from Rheingold and/or Postman) that inform it? How can the writer make this material
clearer?

MEHTODS
Based on the writer’s description of his/her methods, do you feel that you could go out and
conduct this research yourself? What can the writer do to make the methods section
clearer?

RESULTS
Does the writer succeed in reporting all of the relevant facts of his or her research (without
accidentally starting to interpret them)? How can the writer make the results serve more
effectively to set up the analysis section to come?

ANALYSIS
Does the writer make an original contribution to the scholarly discussion represented by the
Rheingold-Postman debate? How can the writer further develop his/her original argument,
so that it’s more complex, more original, more interesting to his/her audience?
