Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson, the world’s favorite bug-eyed family, debuted in 1987 in
30-second segments on “The Tracey Ullman show”. In 1989 the irreverent Springfield residents launched
their own enormously successful, Emmy Award winning prime-time series. A certificate accompanies an
original hand painted cel set-up used in the production of “The Simpsons”. Each set-up represents a slight
degree of movement of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid
succession, the images appear to move. Simpsons cel bear the official twentieth Century Fox seal of
