Weepers for flute and clarinet duo is a work attempting to

bridge a gap between the past and present, and traditional and
contemporary repertoire. It utilizes contemporary techniques but in a
more conservative melodic environment. Weepers is also a reference
from the original inspiration for the work; Heitor Villa-Lobos. As you
will hear in the work, it pays homage to Villa-lobos through his work
with choros.
