amThe streetlights gleamRaindrop bokehOn my windowpaneI hide under the sheets, Afraid to close my eyes A shadow passes beyond And I watchI wonderIs it you againCome back to haunt me?.I can see sometimesThat the stars shineThrough raging thunderclouds Are these raindrops? Are these my tears?.The lightsHave abandoned meI stumbleOver broken glass and dreams A black fogFills this gutterI fell intoIs it youReaching out to me?The light blinds me Again.. Wiping grime off my face And blood off my fingersMy gloves are rippedMy hands dirty I look back Is it you there? A shadow follows me As I stagger away .I feel your heart stop under my fingers Your breath was lost a long time ago

Sirens cut throughThe cold night airCrawls up my skinParalyses my chestFills me with silent screams.DespairI triedI believedI gave you everything I hadI did this for youNow I am empty  And lost.3am And I hide under the weightOf misplaced dreamsRaindropsHit my window There are no streetlights A shadow Follows meHolds me close We have met beforeI pretend to sleep Away This life Where you and I Were never meant to be.
