and loud singing voice.

Sirens Stories
The Story of Argonauts:
The Argonauts were passing the Island of the
Sirens. “They sat on a cliff, half hidden by sea
spray and sang so beautifully that all sailors who
heard them dived into the sea and tried to swim to
them only to drown or pine to death at the sailors
feet.” Their voices were irresistible, causing
anyone within ears reach to linger towards it. So
when the Argonauts passed they almost died,
however Orpheus drowned out the singing with
his harp and they passed the Island without harm.
Where are they Now?
► Itwas said that the Sirens could live no
longer if anyone passed the Island and
didn’t die. So when they passed the Island,
no one ever saw The Sirens again. They are
now dead and gone.
Family History
► Sirensparents are Achelous and Sterope.
► Sterope’s brother was Oeheus. And
Streope’s parents were Porthagon and
Euryte.
