Most awesome thing I’ve ever done:
The sum-mer after my senior year in high school, I went on a 30 daymission trip to the third poorest country in the world - Ma-lawi, Africa. The country has also rocked by AIDS, leaving 1million children orphaned out of a total population of 12 mil-lion. The heart-wrenching, yet beautiful experiences that I hadin that country almost four years ago still have a profoundimpact on who I am and how I behave to this very day.
Favorite Name for God:
Jehovah Jireh/Nissi (The Lordmy Provider/ The Lord who is my banner, my Victory)
Favorite scripture:
Joshua 1:6-9
Why I am excited to be here:
Every now and again, Godprovides us with those opportunities to make a profound im-pact on the world, to intertwine our legacy with his. I feel thatthis summer is precisely one of those moments. It is my hopeand my goal, that after this summer, UY will never be thesame again. I already see the heart to serve others and thedesire to grow deeper in His knowledge in these teens, and Iam thrilled that my job this summer is to continue them alongthat path and help them mature into stronger soldiers for Hiskingdom.
One last thing I would like to add...
Go Gators! AndWaaaaaar Eagle Hey!!!

me so much about life.
Favorite Name for God:

–
God loves me as His
daughter. He’s adopted me and invites me to call him Abba…Father…Dad.
Romans 8:14-16
Favorite Scripture:
It’s hard to pick one, but of themoments it’s Hebrews 6:18
-
19. The best picture of peace isn’ta bird soaring through a blue sky. Rather, it’s a picture of a bird
in the midst of a raging storm holding tight to a mighty rock, ananchor, and standing firm. God offers to be that rock of hopefor us!
Why I’m excited for the summer:
I am so veryanxiously counting down the days until I am in Tuscaloosa! Inwatching Lindsey and Logan become a part of the Universityfamily I have seen and heard so many amazing stories. Lindseycalls and brags about how awesome the Youth Group andchurch are and I just feel so blessed that I get to spend thesummer with such wonderful people. I already feel so loved byyou all and I cannot wait to see what God will do with us thissummer!
