Anyon was providing facts to support her theory on the “hidden curriculum”.

In a working class school, the children are subconsciously taught how to obey. There isn’t much
critical thinking going on, it’s just repeatedly put into the brain until the child gets it.

Anyon suggested, like many others, that there is a hidden curriculum in schools, and that as
children learn throughout school they are taught a different type of way to accommodate themselves in
