Foundation Course :
The foundation course is the gateway to the
professional course of CA/CS. Student can now
enter the CA/CS professional through registration
after passing the 10+2/equivalent examination.

Examinations:
Foundation course covers 10 months postal tuition
after registration. Foundation examinations are
conducted in May and November.
After passing foundation examination, candidates can
take admission to the charted Accountancy course which
consists of Intermediate Course and Final Course.
Future prospects:
For a CA areas of work can be: Accountancy, Auditing, Taxation,
Cost accountancy, Management accounting, management
consultancy and many more.
 It is one of the toughest exams in India
 It has pass percentage of around 2-3%
 The number of commerce students finally
becoming CA/CS/ICWA is as low as 10%.
