Year Six Homework Friday 7

SATs will take place next week. Thank you to pupils andparents who gave their views on the SATs over the last week.The timetable for SATs is as follows:Monday  English Reading ComprehensionTuesday  English Long Writing Task, Short Writing Task andSpellingsWednesday  Maths Paper A (Non-calculator) and MentalArithmeticThursday  Maths Paper B (calculator)Friday  Science Sampling Papers A and B.Good luck to all of the children  we are confident that theyllall do brilliantly. We know they will do their best and we arealready proud of their efforts this year!The school football team plays against Weaver tonight. Goodluck!The Church Lanes Got Talent Year Group heats took placethis week. All of the children who took part were really braveand, without a doubt, we have a talented Year Six!Congratulations to Diamond Dancers, Michael JacksonsBodyguards, BFM and Election who were all voted through tothe semi-finals.Class photographs will be taken next Friday afternoon.We have begun our preparations for Grow A Pound Week.This exciting week is due to take place a week on Monday(17
). The children will each be given a pound (donated bythe Friends of the School) to invest in a company that theyhave set up with their business partners this week. A letterwill be sent out to explain more about this.No homework has been set this week. The amount of homework will be greatly reduced from now on. However,pupils are welcome to complete another part of theirPersonal Choice homework during the week, but only if theywish to!
