Children’s Bureau, were Co-Chairmen, presiding, under direction of Dr. Leonard Scheele,Surgeon General of and representing the Public Health Service. Dr. Scheele was also president of the World Health Organization which attempted international ﬂuoridation through the United Nations.Dr. Knutson, upon retirement, became associated with the University of California at Los Angeles(U.C.L.A.)
