The Bachelor of Teaching double degreeprogram prepares you for teaching in middleand senior secondary schools, and is alsosuitable if you intend to work with adultlearners. It proides you with the opportunityto pursue education courses from thebeginning of your uniersity studies.The major course sequences are taken aspart of the chosen academic program in thesubject area of the student’s choice. Eachyear students also take education coursesdesigned to proide an on-going orientationto educational issues and practice.The first and third year education coursesinclude obseration and experience inschool contexts. The final year is taken upentirely with education studies, organisedaround two fie-week periods of teachingpractice in secondary schools.
