my point is this. I'm not a Rob Bell fan - really. And I love debate. But I can't stand when illogical, incomplete thought is countered illogical, incomplete thought. Just because you disagree doesn't make you right. And just because you're wrong doesn't mean Bell is right. You're exceedingly eloquent but ur trapped in a closed mind just as bell is hindered by being too open.

So wait - now I'm confused. On page 9 you say only those who aren't actually Christians are confused by scripture. My bible says in 1 Cor 13:12 that we only see in part. It says we see now as through stained glass. But you say if I'm a real Christian I would see clearly and fully understand all of scripture. I wish I was as real a Christian as you!

wow. i find ur view of Bell's book to be relatively fair and that is impressive given ur narrow view on things which is made obvious in your writing. In your review you have actually verified some of the points Rob makes. In fact on page 9 you postulate that only non-Christians could possibly misunderstand the bible. Really? You mean to say you have never been confused by scripture? Ever? Or n
