LIMA, OH – Clyde Rauch,President and CEO of TouchstoneCPM and W. Michael Linn, Presidentand CEO of Greensleeves announcedtoday they have decided to work
together to provide energy efcient
buildings that are cost competitivewith conventional construction.
Buildings consume 40% of the energy in today’s world, but
they are much less efcient than
they need to be. Touchstone andGreensleeves are serious aboutconservation and reducing car-bon footprint by reducing the cost
of constructing energy efcient
buildings. “We are pleased to beworking together to help buildingowners not only have projects thatare on-time and on-budget but toactually reduce their energy loadin the future”, said Clyde Rauchof Touchstone. To do this, theU.S. has to construct buildingsas a complete system and not ascomponents or in stages.”“The “Green” dilemma has
been that constructing energy ef
-cient buildings have, in the past, required higher up-front costs. Theinvestment required usually paysback over time, but tight budgetsoften outweigh future savings. Itis now possible to dramaticallyreduce future energy bills withoutincreasing construction cost” saidLinn. “This can be done withan integrated energy harvesting, storage and distribution systembuilt as part of the building itself and implemented with strong proj-ect management. That’s why wecame to Touchstone. Their his-tory of quality on-time, on-budgetconstruction makes them an idealconstruction project manager for abuilding that contains a completeenergy system.”
