is the largest producer of solar energy in thenation yet FPL wants to build two new nuclear reactorsbecause they will not have to pay for them.YOU WILL!• COST:Turkey Point 6 & 7 nuclear units will ultimatelycost $35 Billion; FPL says $24 Billion but that is theovernight cost, not the full cost of the project.• SAFETY: FPL has had the largest fine ($25,000,000)ever imposed by the State Of Florida for its pooroperation of Turkey Point nuclear units 3 & 4 which areover 37 years old.• NEED: If we can reduce energy consumption by 10%we will not need Turkey Point 6 & 7 or any other newpower plant in South Florida for the foreseeable future.Even so, there is no current need for more power here.
