Republic of the Philippines Department of Budget & Management REGIONAL OFFICE IV-A (CALABARZON) Bids and Awards Committee BAC Resolution Recommending to the Director IV to Approve the Present Set-Up of Renewing the Contract of Security Services BAC RESOLUTION NO. 2016-004 WHEREAS, in consonance with BAC Resolution No. 2016-003, the DBM Regional Office IV-A resorted to the Alternative Mode of Negotiated Procurement for the Provision of Security Services; WHEREAS, the DBM RO IV-A BAC Secretariat sent Request for Quotation (RFQ) from three (3) suppliers/contractors of known qualifications for the best and final offers; WHEREAS, out of the three (3) RFQs sent to qualified suppliers, only the DBPSC Security Services Incorporated have submitted its best and final offer; WHEREAS, during the meeting held in 28 March 2016 at the DBM RO IV-A Conference Room, to evaluate and discuss the DBPSC Security Services offer, the DBM RO IV-A BAC agreed that the offer of DBPSC Security Services may be considered as the best offer since it meets the technical requirement on the security services of the DBM RO IV-A and the amount offered do not exceed the ABC’; NOW, THEREFORE, the DBM RO IV-A Bids and Awards Committee, hereby RESOLVE as it is hereby RESOLVED to recommend to the Head of Procuring Entity the acceptance of the offer made by the DBPSC Security Services as the lowest calculated responsive bid and to immediately issue the Notice of Award to DBPSC Security Services; RESOLVED, at the DBM Regional Office IV-A Conference Room, this 29"" day of March 2016.
