2.1 Requirements before installing
If you are already using Microsoft Windows, please reserve some space us-ing utilities that will partition and leave 10 GB unformatted. (You can leavemore room if you want to do something big—that is up to you). You need to conﬁgure the BIOS to boot from your CD-ROM drive. Thatvaries from computer to computer’s motherboard, which I can’t explainhere. Refer to your motherboard’s instruction manual for more informa-tion.Pop your CD inside the drive and start from the disc. You will be welcomed by a list of commands.
