ميحرلا نحرلا مسب
أَمْ لَ َ
كَ لََدْ صََ
Did We not
for you,[O Muhammad], yourchest?
up the meaning of something which was before complex.Ibn Faaris explaining Sharh: to open something, or to clarify something.In Ilm al Bayaan - "
sharaha Allahu lahu sadrahu
" = Allah expanded his chest for him =
Allahput hismind at ease.
The one whose chest has been opened/expanded - is
very pleased and very content andhappy
(whereas before they were in a state of unease and uncomfort). Allah's Messenger iscompletely content with what Allah has given to him.ash-Shawkani; any barrier between the knowledge that Allah has given him, Allah hasremoved such barriers - so he has full and total understanding of the message. RecievingAND understanding a message pleases and relaxes the mind.
