Kind attention is invited to the DoP&T's OM No' 36038/t/2018-Estt(Res.)

dated 19.11.2008 vide which it has been instructed to
launch Special
Recruitment Drive (SRD) for filling up theBacklog vacancies reserved of
SCs, STs, OBCs existing as on 1.11.2008.

2. In this regard, approval of the competent authority is hereby conveyed to

conduct SRD for filling up the backlog vacancies reserved for SCs, STs, OBCs in
the cadre of TTA under Direct Recruitment quota. The number of backlog
vacancies which may be filled up by conducting SRD are given hereunder
against each Circle who have reported such vacancies:

3. The above backlog vacancy position are on the basis of information

furnished by the Circles w.r.t, to the SCT Cell's letter No'45-1/2008-SCT dated
24.t2.2008. In case the above vacancies have decreased on account of ongoing
recruitment processes, SRD may be COnducted against such decreased vacancies
and a prior intimation to this effect may be sent to scT Branch & Pers-III Section
of the BSNL C.O, before notifying the examination.
