to explain everything such as how a rainbow is "made" then the magic can almost be lost...i read that in a book. Einstein said imagination was key to science or something like that.

I have an early memory of laying on the ground and experiencing, without words, the immensity of the stars. This is my religion. In the end science is about words, words fancier than everyday discourse, but words none the less. It is an article of faith to me that there are places our words can't go, places that can only be known by experiencing them.
