Putting 5 Man Pressures from the 3 – 3 stack into your existing defense
By: Mike Roark, Defensive Coordinator Robert E Lee High School and founder of Let’s Talk Defense,www.letstalkdefense.com

Why the Stack Defense?
With today’s offensive schemes everybody seems to be incorporatingsome version of a spread offense. Teams need to be able to adjustimmediately to the formation so you can still be fundamentally sound. Byusing the Stack Defense philosophy, you will be able to adjust from your base defense immediately into the Stack and also gain the advantage. You will bedefensively sound, you will also be able to create confusionby applying pressure with the inside 6, yet maintain either a man or zone concept on the perimeter. The Stack Defense is also user friendly, you will see that it is easilyadjusted to from your normal looks. This alone gives the defense anadvantage by creating a different look for opponents to worry about andpractice against during the week prior to your game. Remember, themore time opponents spend preparing and practicing against differentfronts and coverages. The less time they have to practice and getcomfortable against 1 certain look.To see how you can use the Stack Defense, just click on the link to theleft and it will take to a tutorial on how to adjust and it will also show you2 different blitzes from the stack. If you would prefer to just see theblitzes, just click on the blitz under the defense and it will take you to just the blitz.
