VIVIAN KANE sits at her desk responding to emails. Heroffice is decorated with confetti, streamers, balloons, andan oversized “Happy Anniversary” greeting card.Vivian diverts her attention to a manila file foldercovered in confetti. Vivian swipes away the confetti, opensthe file folder, and begins reviewing the papers inside.She hears a knock on her door and looks up.MORGAN CASEY stands in the entryway of Vivian’s office.VIVIAN KANECome on in, Morgan. You’re right ontime.Morgan walks in holding a stack of papers and carrying herlaptop. She gazes at all the celebratory decoration.MORGAN CASEY(cheery voice)Happy Anniversary, Viv!VIVIAN KANE(laughing)You did this, didn’t you?Vivian collects a handful of confetti and tosses it up inthe air.MORGAN CASEYWell... not entirely me. I had help.VIVIAN KANEEither way, very thoughtful. Thanks.But, aren’t you here for something?Morgan hands Vivian a piece of paper and sits.
