RE: SUMMARY OF NEW MEXICO DEMOCRATIC VOTER SURVEY,

MAY 25, 2010
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Polling Methodology: Automated phone dialing survey using established demographic
methodological standards to likely voting Republican registered households with a known
history of voting in primary elections.
Surveys were conducted using this method on May 25th, 2010 between 5 pm and 9 pm.
During this period, 771 interviews were conducted among likely voters in the upcoming June
1st Republican primary election.
As is done routinely in surveys, results were weighted, or adjusted, to ensure that responses
accurately reflect the population's makeup by factors such as age, sex, region and other
established demographic standards and variables.
The margin of sampling error for the surveys conducted is +/- 3.53% with a 95% level of
confidence for the 356 interviews conducted in the Governor ballot test question.
Survey key question wording: “If the Republican primary election for Governor was held
today, would you vote for Susana Martinez, Allen Weh, Doug Turner, Pete Domenici Jr. or
Janice Arnold-Jones?” Respondents were given the option to select “undecided” as an
answer to the ballot question.
