The Waterfront ParkObama Rally Museum

The purpose of this museum is to record and preserve the memory of therally held at Waterfront Park (Portland, OR) in May of 2008 for SenatorBarack Obama, nominee for Democratic presidential candidate.This historical event was attended by thousands, perhaps even hundreds of

thousands, and helped contribute to the election of our nation’s rst

African-American president. The magnitude of this occasion demandsrespect and remembrance. This museum is to be a physical reminder of the mark the event left on each attendee.The museum consists of an interactive sign that offers information aboutthat day. Visitors can record their own memories of that day, and theserecordings can be played back from the sign.
