ElaneaThe rocks of the sea floor closed in on my body as I fell farther into the abyss of past memories that hadkept me from returning to this place. Now that I was here there was no turning back, and even if I could I
now where to go in the world. The pressure on my back let me know I had hit the bottom, and I
would not ascend to the water’s surface any time soon. The cold chill of air on my skin caused my body to
tremble as my eyes began to focus on the figure standing over me. JohnThe bom
bs had fallen and the day wasn’t looking any better. The move had its own effect on all of us.
Moving to a small town on the edge of nowhere from somewhere that is always crowed and full of actioncan cause you to feel extremely isolated from society. The move was all because of our
new job,and we were forced to leave the city and move to this town of only a few thousand around this never-ending countryside.MomJohn, start unpacking you have school tomorrow, and tell your brother and sister to get a move on with
things. I’m still waiting on the kitchen plates and silverware, why don’t you go see if they need any help.
Great not thirty minutes and I’m stuck babysitting again.
John, just go, I don’t want to hear it.
(John walks out and heads to the car to where his sister and brother are sitting with bored looks on their faces.)JohnWhat the hell, why do you guys constantly sit around and do nothing. Mom keeps complaining to me and allyou two are going to do is sit on your asses doing nothing.Elanea
Oh shut up John. We’ve been working hard enough as it is, we don’t need to hear your annoying voice on
top of it. So just shut the hell up and help us move this.
