PLATFORM 2010 EMERGING CURATOR’S PROGRAM APPLICATION

INFORMATION

Platform is now accepting applications for the Emerging Curator’s Program running from July to December 2010.

Platform presents exhibitions from a wide range of practitioners working across theareas of contemporary art and design. Our key objective is to deliver exciting andrelevant public exhibitions to a broad cross-section of the public. The Sample site is a dedicated space reserved for the work of artists and curators under 25 years of age.The successful Emerging Curator will curate and deliver a program of one-monthexhibitions in the Sample site as well as assist in the development of the Platform 20 year Anniversary Project.Platform will be looking for applications from emerging curators that can demonstrateprevious exhibition experience, and a commitment to contemporary art and critically engaged art practices.

What you need to provide:

Completed Application form

1 page Cover Letter – stating the reasons for your interest in the program

1 page CV 1 x CD/DVD of support images of previous curated exhibitions (up to 20 perapplication)List of support images (for individual artworks: artist, date, title, medium, size;for general installation images: exhibition title, location, date.)
